Brand Identity 


TAKK is a coffee house situated in the Northern Quarter in Manchester. 

The owners of the space approached me looking for a brand identity that appealed to a young and creative audience, but also took reference from the Scandinavian theme running subtly throughout the coffee shop.

After studying the flags of the different Nordic countries, I realised this could provide me with the basis for the marque and so set about creating a stylised letter T within the flag shape. I added a bespoke typeface to the symbol based upon the lines and space within the flags.

The project is ongoing with web work and further branding to be developed over time.
