The Rose 'N Crown was established in 1641 and is a grade two listed building, making it one of the oldest public houses in Cheshire.
In March 2013, the venue changed ownership and the idea to focus more on good quality food was conceived.
I was asked to create a new identity for the venue and took my reference from the stained glass windows at the front of the chophouse.
I designed a more distinctive brand logo and created both a set of icons, including a rose and a crown, for use on menus, beer mats and restaurant signage.
I also designed a set of menus for the restaurant/bar and the branding for its own craft ale, 'The Chopper'.
